The ‘Get Your Vendor’ Virtual Launch took place on the 9th of December, 2020. We were honoured to have two of the most celebrated industry stalwarts, Mr. Jagdish Mehta of ACG Group & Mr. NishikantAhire of AMT Group, as Guest Speakers for the launch.

Today’s subject is: Sourcing challenges faced by MSMEs and the industry as a whole, and how this portal bridges the gap between buyers and vendors. MSMEs contribute to more than 25% of India’s GDP and almost half of it is export. It is estimated that there are around 6 crore MSMEs holding 48% share in India’s Export. MSMEs also play an important role in creating employment opportunities for millions.
A few months ago, The Narendra Modi Govt. announced the Atmanirbhar Stimulus Package to reboot India’s Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises. The Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan is being hailed as a major Fiscal policy and relief measure to reassure India’s economic growth amidst the pandemic with a specific focus on MSMEs.
Two questions are to be answered now-
1. How do we, as vendors or buyers, leverage this and keep growing?

Few prominent challenges I see are-
1. Finding sub vendors in the absence of adequate access and suitable platforms.
2. How do we increase Brand awareness?
3. Building Email list and generating leads.
